  Lapin and I came here for a quick lunch. The restaurant was pretty deserted other than two couples. We had to wait by the entrance while the hostess, her kid and the waiter was chatting by the bar. After being seated, the Nicola W. came by to take our orders. I wouldn't necessarily call her the friendliest person but she wasn't rude either. We ordered crab cakes ($10) and two crabmeat rolls ($15). The crab cake seemed to have more filler than crab and it was two medium sized circles and served with a slight fruity chutney. The crabmeat roll was filled with generous amount of meat and the roll came with a side of chips. The entire meal was average and might be on the pricey side for some.

  I would have given 5 stars but I will explain why I only gave 3. The food was fantastic and the owner Mike as well as the bus boys and other servers were great as well. Unfortunately, our server Ashley H. was horrible from the beginning. We were seated and she had an attitude from the start. She seemed annoyed that she had a table of 5 that included (2) 5 year olds and her face and voice showed it. My little ones were not loud, did not run around or anything common with kids their age. She never checked with us throughout our meal. We had to hail down another server for sweetener, extra napkins etc. we waited 20 min to order dessert and ended up just wanting to leave. We even had to ask the owner( Mike) for our check. He then returned with our check and two free desserts. While I was getting my credit card to pay, my oldest daughter and I see Ashley walk over to another waitress and start bad mouthing my family right in front of us!!! My husband then took the bill directly to Mike as me and my three daughters walked out to the car. I recommend this restaurant highly- the food is delicious ( except the water and tea since they tasted like a lobster bathed in them) and most of the staff are pleasant and professional but if you go avoid Ashley H as a server. It will save you from being as disgusted with another human being as we were.

  Great fresh seafood, without the huge waits and mediocre food of the touristy places right at the beach. Got a great warm lobster roll (which is nearly impossible to find outside of Maine) and the best stuffed quahog I've ever had. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
